this week was worse than last week,monday was really monday blues for me, my lesson was from 9 to 6 and i only had 1 hour break by half of the day i was already burn up and worse i forgot to bring my lab coat so i had to spend $18 to buy another one :(when i thought that monday was bad, wednesday was worst but jenn started my day by waking up real early to send me to school:) which makes me happy hehe (thank you boy boy) it was like 8 to 6 for me, even though there were 2 hours of break it doesnt feel enough, after school i wanted to wait for jenn after his training and watched bball competiton with jielin, daph and yonghua at the same time and by the time i reach home i was dead flat like not a single ounce of energy left but i was glad to make someone happy that day :):):):)thursday was a unlucky day for me.. firstly in the morning, thanks to my bottle which leaked in my bag it entered my phone and it was a miracle that it is still working fine until now and i was feeling grouchy the entire day, i wanted to send my phone for repair but the lady at the counter said that it is beyond economic repair so guess i got to use until it dies of ..but thursday wasnt bad at the end, me jenn yvonne and her boyfriend went on a double date even though it was really wierd at the start coz something happen but in the end it turned out well and the 4 of us had a really great time :D ... next up is elearning week (which i still prefer school)

My decision to move overseas was quite by accident. It was not a conscious choice of mine to do so. 3 years ago, my then fiancé got a posting to Shanghai, China. As we were planning to get married within the next 6 months, he felt that I should relocate with him. Of course I was hesitant as I had a good job in Singapore then, and of course, all my family and friends were in Singapore. However, after thinking about it, I felt that I should support and follow my soon-to-be husband. I applied for a job in Shanghai and within 2 weeks, I was offered the job. I have never returned to Singapore for work since.
In many countries, the culture is extremely different from what we have in Singapore. For example, the first thing is language. I have since worked in Shanghai, Vietnam and now Thailand. In all these countries, the biggest obstacle I face is language. Not many people speak English, so I am forced to learn their language. Sometimes it can be fun, but other times frustrating, especially when you need to pass a message urgently, but people don’t understand! Also, I was shocked by the way people are so confrontational in China – they will stand up and fight whenever they are provoked. No matter how small the problem, they will not back down from a fight – that really shocked me and took a little getting used to. Also, in Vietnam, everybody travels by motorcycle, and they ignore all traffic rules and light!. So you must be really careful when crossing the streets.
What I miss most about Singapore is the orderly nature in which we Singaporeans have been accustomed to. Clean streets, proper English spoken, good service, efficient transport systems etc are all thing s I miss. You will appreciate this more after you live overseas and realize that many other countries do not enjoy the security we do as Singaporeans.
However, I do not have any regrets. It is wonderful to be able to see the world from a different culture and perspective. People grow through experiences and this is what I am enjoying now. Hopefully, one day I will return to Singapore with my new found knowledge, in small little ways, add more sparkle to our Singaporean culture too.

well it is about the end of my US holiday, hmm there are boring times but there were more fun times.
on christmas eve, we went to mason and daynan house, i haven seen them for the past 5 years and was really excited to meet them, but anyway on christmas eve, my uncle made all the kids do some skit i of all the characters i could play, i was the sheep. but then the highlight of christmas eve wasnt that, the kids played pattern games till like 3 in the morning.
on christmas the first thing that we did was to find our christmas presents under the christmas tree. i got a roxy wallet, a banana republic shirt, a bag and a mini light saber, my bro was even better he got like 2 guess wallets.
we actually wanted to go out but all the shops were closed so we ended up staying at home, playing arm wrestling and wii.
the next day i went to the redwood forest and for your info redwood is the tallest tree in earth. and we also went to sausilito for some sight seeing.
on thursday i went shopping at great mall, that is the best place for shopping, its even better than town or vivo.
oh ya and i was down with a cold and i spread my cold to daynan, sean and my cousin. so at first we were supposed to go to a party but because most of us are sick, the kids stayed home the whole night and played games and babysit the 2 little girls which is a good thing coz we would be so bored if we go to that party.
on the last day i went to city hall, took some funny pics and watch the sunset and had a great dinner, and so finally my holiday is complete.
sure i am gonna miss mason, daynan, my cousin and sean after knowing each other more and disturbing and playing non stop the whole day and also i am gonna miss the good food here but most of all i will miss san francisco and all that shopping.

all the houses at that particular estate were decorated nicely but this house is still the best

for the past 4 days i went to my uncle's bro house (not related to me) to stay. i haven seen his family for the past 5 years so was quite excited to see them. on sat when we went there, he grilled steak for us and it was the best steak i have ever eaten. then the next day we went to church and guess what when me and bro was talking to one of the ang moh lady there and she said that we sound like nigerians :0 we were like WTH. on monday we went to great mall and that mall is really great, it was so damn huge and everything was on sale so it was really a good place for shopping, the hollister, abercrombie, american eagle and levi's was cheap compare to normal price. that night we also went to a jap restuarant to for dinner and i had the best sushimi i ever had we ordered like about US$100 worth of sushimi, we were all like damn full when we came out. ohh and mason and daynan had nintendo wii (not lauch in singpore yet, its the latest nintendo, its even better than ps3 and x-box). i created a character and there was this wii fitness and age test and guess what, the game said that i was 80 years old wah i damn weak man.
anyways i am back to my cousin's apartment and going to town again tomorrow .. yay!!!!!

hey people i will just be using my blog this time to update about my holiday in the US :)

was at the airport at 12.30 and my plane is at 5.40 pm my aunt wanted to go there early but then it was pathetically early. the plane ride was long and quite uncomfortable but somehow i found the turbulance quite fun (like roller coaster). finally when we reach san francisco it was about 7.30 pm and it was freaking cold. we stayed at my cousin's apartment so actually can save money.

when to the town area and the shop i love best there is the forever 21 .. i tell you the store is damn huge its like 2 storeys and the clothes here are nicer and got more collections but then most of it in winter wear:( haiz if singapore got winter it will be good and anyway there were so many branded stuff there, the clothes were nice but the price also very nice..

wah piang yesterday maths and chem paper was a killer.
on thursday i did maths TYS and like thought 'i should be can do lar' then it freaking turn out that the paper was so challenging.
same for chem, study until so late and some more before the paper we were all studying the organic chem thingy then in the end .. haiz
anyway after the paper, opq had to go cut hair then the rest of us in the end went to mac to chill. i had two freaking ulcers in my mouth which hurt when eating the fries, even worse i bite on my ulcers sgain while eating that feeling is like worse then piercing my ears man.
so sad :( that is gonna join together to form i big ulcer
